Today I can present to YOU the full Drive & Sound with the recently facelifted 2017 / 2018 Volkswagen Golf 7 R VARIANT (Wagon) delivering 310 hp and 400 Nm of torque through 4 Motion and 7-Speed DSG. Interestingly enough VW has managed to get a decent sound out of this exhaust system whereas the SEAT Cupra 300 ST 4Drive sounds rather calm. Actually it sounds even better than the “normal” 5-door version which has an active valve system but had to be made quieter than the pre-facelift due to EU regulations. Of course the Akrapovic exhaust which is only optional for 3-door and 5-door will sound even more aggressive. Please stay tuned for more footage of this Golf R airing soon also on FB & Insta. Cheers.
