A light-system test on country roads of the the all-new 2016 / 2017 BMW 7-Series featuring the awesome and newly developed “Laserlight” (Laserlicht) which features and extended range on high beam. Luckily for us but unfortunately for this test it doesn’t get dark until 10 pm these days so my test wasn’t even at full night. Still, you can see that the Laser addition on high beam delivers a long distance reach whereas the automatic high beam mode works very granular and equally good as Mercedes-Benz Multibeam LED and Audi’s Matrix LED. Also the interior is illuminated in a very nice way and BWM greatly improved the iDrive, now supporting TOUCH an GESTURES.
